چکیده

Material extrusion additive manufacturing of metal (metal MEX), which is one the 3D printing processes, has gained more interests because its simplicity and economics. Metal MEX process similar to conventional injection moulding (MIM) process, consisting feedstock preparation powder polymer binders, layer-by-layer MEX) or create green parts, debinding remove binders sintering consolidated metallic parts. Due recent rapid development MEX, it important review current research work on this topic further understand critical parameters related physical mechanical properties parts relevant studies real applications. In review, available literature systematically summarised concluded in terms feedstock, printing, sintering. The processing-related properties, i.e., solid loading vs. dimensional shrinkage maps, temperature relative sintered density stress elongation maps for three main alloys (316L stainless steel, 17-4PH steel Ti-6Al-4V), are also discussed compared with well-established MIM international standards assess stage development.
